Common name: hahnemann's tinctura acris sine kali.
Adapted to persons who are subject to affections of respiratory and urinary tracts (Lyc., Merc., Nat-M.) (A.).
Useful for dark-haired persons with rigid fibres, psoric constitutions, suffering from long ago suppressions of skin diseases (N.).
Disturbed functional activity of brain and spinal cord, from exhausting disease or severe mental shock, resulting in paralysis.
Tension in the limbs with paralysis, especially of the extensor muscles (Plb.).
Rheumatic and gouty tearing in the limbs, relieved by warmth, especially by the heat of the bed.
Shortening of the flexor muscles.
Paralytic trembling, debility of the limbs when out of bed.
Numbness of the single parts, or of the right side of the body.
In children, soreness, swelling of the abdomen, easy falling, and late learning to walk (Bar-C., Calc-P., Sil.).
In the evening and while sitting, insupportable restlessness through the whole body and anxiety about the heart.
Burning of the exterior parts (ulcers) (Ars., Lach., Phos., Sulph.).
Warts of eye-brows and nose.

May be used in spasmodic diseases, even in convulsions. When walking in the open air, the patient falls but soon recovers. During the unconscious stage, he passes urine. These attacks especially recur at the new moon (F.).
May be called for in colic after failure of Colocynth. The pains are of a griping, cutting character and are relieved by bending double (F.).
AGGRAVATION: In the evening; in the open air; after drinking coffee; while perspiring; in clear, fine weather; during new moon; from getting wet or bathing; and from coming from the air into a warm room.
AMELIORATION: From warmth; in damp, wet weather.
RELATIONSHIP. Complementary: Carb-V., Petrosel.
INCOMPATIBLE: Phos. Must not be used before or after Phos., always disagrees; the Acids; Coffea.
