We are often led to this remedy, when we find a great deal of perspiration, occurring with any other trouble, which may last all the time, or it may come and go in paroxysms (G.).

PROFUSE SWEAT OVER THE ENTIRE BODY DURING WAKING HOURS; ON GOING TO SLEEP, DRY HEAT RETURNS (sweats as soon as he closes his eyes to sleep- Chin., Con.) (A.).
Most of the pains occur during rest and disappear during motion (Rhus-T.) (A.).
Persons formerly robust and fleshy, suddenly become emaciated (Iod., Tub.) (A.).
Oedematous swelling in various parts of the body, especially in legs, insteps and feet (A.).
AGGRAVATION: From uncovering; while lying down; while resting; after eating fruit; during midnight, in dry, cold air; from cold drinks; and during expiration.
AMELIORATION: From moving; on rising; while walking; from wrapping up warmly; from sitting up in bed; and from pressure.
RELATIONSHIP: Antidotes: Ars., Camph.
Follows well after Op. in bad effects of fright.
Relieves ailments from abuse of Ars.
