Sensation as if the blood were rushing to the occiput on entering a room.

Eyes

Burning in the eyes in the open air or on waking or at candle light.

Spasmodic quivering of the lids.

Mistiness of sight, especially in the afternoon when writing.

Ears

Sticking in the ears.

Boring in the ears with dryness of the throat.

Nose

Itching burning of the tip of the nose.

Itching in the nostrils.

Pimples on the septum, with burning and oozing.

Face

Pale, earthy complexion.

Redness of the cheeks, even when the skin is cold.

Cramp-pain in the (left) cheek.

Itching pimples and vesicles on the cheeks.

Itching of the lips.

Chapped lips.

Mouth and Throat

Dryness in the mouth and throat also, on waking in the morning.

Greasy feeling in the mouth and on the palate.

Accumulation of a quantity of snow-white saliva in the mouth.

Choking and constriction of the throat, particularly in the morning and evening.

Dryness of the throat, especially perceptible during empty deglutition.

Dryness with sour taste in the mouth.

Hawking of tenacious mucus after a meal.

Stomach and Abdomen

Desire for soft-boiled eggs.

Frequent empty eructations, relieving the nausea and the urging to vomit.

Bruised pain about the stomach.

Sensation as if the stomach were full of water.

Pressure in the pit of the stomach, also after drinking cold water.

Stinging in the stomach.

Sensation of coldness in the stomach.

Burning and heat from the stomach to the chest.

Pressure with sticking in the region of the liver and spleen.

Shifting of flatulence in the abdomen with rumbling.

Drawing from the groins into the testicles.

Stool and Anus

Difficult stool even when natural.

Burning and stinging in the anus and rectum.

Urinary Organs

Copious, clear, pale urine, also depositing a cloud.

Greenish urine.

Burning during micturition.

Itching in the urethra.

Sexual Organs

Men. Burning-stinging about the root of the penis (afternoon).

Both testicles are drawn up and painful.

Pressing in the prostate gland.

Nocturnal erections and emissions.

Women. Menses too early, preceded and accompanied by colic.

Scanty menses, blood black.

Respiratory Organs

Hoarseness with inability to talk loud.

Roughness in the throat, inducing dry, hacking cough.

Rushes of blood to the chest with dry heat of the face.

Pressure and crushing sensation about the heart.

Back and Neck

Pain in the small of the back worse when sitting.

Cracking of the vertebræ on raising the head.

Extremities

Upper. Numbness of single fingers.

Drawing and digging in the right thumb, as if it would ulcerate.

Lower. Sticking in the sole of the foot.

Tingling at one spot in the middle of the sole, in the evening.

Cramp in the toes.

Tearing in the big toe, which is painful as if ulcerated, particularly near the nail.

Lameness of the left lower limb and left arm.

Generalities

Cramp-like drawing in different parts.

Languor with indolence; inclination to sit.

Fainting.

Fever

Coldness after a walk in the open air.

Coldness of the whole left lower limb.

Shuddering from the vertex to the chest.

Dry, pricking heat, particularly in the face.

Perspiration during a meal.
