A weed common in the East Indies, like nettle. Proved and applied by Tonnere, of Calcutta, and Payne, of Bath. Holcombe's cure.
MIND [1]
Gloomy and despairing, but very unwilling to die. Ξ HÊmoptysis.
LeucorrhÅa, sometimes thick, sometimes watery. Ξ Consumptive patient.
COUGH [27]
Cough, with bloody expectoration. Ξ Tuberculosis.
Violent dry cough, followed by bloody expectoration.
HÊmoptysis.
HÊmoptysis : expectorates pure blood in morning, dark lumps (clotted) in evening. Cough most violent at night. Ξ Tubercular deposits in apex of lung.
INNER CHEST AND LUNGS [28]
Dulness in chest on percussion. Ξ HÊmoptysis.
Constant and severe pain in chest. Ξ HÊmoptysis.
HEART, PULSE AND CIRCULATION [29]
Pulse small and depressed.
Pulse from 100 to 120. Ξ HÊmoptysis.
TIME [38]
Night : cough most violent.
Morning : expectorates pure blood.
Evening : expectorates dark clotted blood.
FEVER [40]
Slow fever.
TISSUES [44]
Progressive emaciation. Ξ HÊmoptysis.
RELATIONS [48]
Collaterally related to all EuphorbiaceÊ ; especially to Mercurialis annua and Mancin .
