MIND
- Emotional.
- Strange notions and apprehensions during pregnancy, 8.
- Exaltation; thinks he has something of importance, 8.
- Singing, in walking through the whole house, entire day, 11.
- Sang more than usual, but did not feel at all merry; singing involuntary, 7.
- Happy disposition, after perspiring in the evening, 11.
- Exhilarated, felt as if he had received joyful intelligence, all day, 4.
- During the first two or three days, temper more equable than usual, 7.
- Felt unusually serious, 7.
- Had a good cry before going to bed; felt very sad (third day), 7. [10.]

EYE
- Objective.
- Eyes somewhat red and inflamed (the cornea), 1c.
- No pain, but eyes still slightly red, and occasional stitches in right temple, 3.
- Eyes bloodshot and painful (fourth day), 3.
- Inflammation in eyes during the day (tenth day), 7. [140.]
- Inflammation of one eye; frothy matter pours out between the lids; pimples around the eyes since the bite of a dog in the finger, 16 . [A cure. -BRAUNS.]
- Subjective.
- Weakness of eyes when looking upwards, 9.
- Great weakness in eyes, but no pain, 5.
- Some pain in eyes (eighth day), 7.
- Burning in eyes, 9.
- Headache not severe; pain extends into right eye (fourth day), 2.
- Eyes ached intensely, 7b.
- Soreness in eyes (fourth day), 4.
- Soreness in eyes, and pain in forehead above them (second day), 4.

EAR
- Rush of blood to right ear, after it a pressure, as if from a dull point, 8.
- Ears feel very still, 7a.
- Buzzing in right ear, 12.
- Rushing noise, like water falling, in left ear, 9.
NOSE
- Objective.
- Frequent sneezing, ceases after his attention is called to it, 14.
- Often coagulated blood in the nose, 9.

- Pain in nose (second day), 7a.
- Pain in the nose and right neck and side; feel very stiff, most about the jaws (fifth day), 7.
- Nose pains from thinking, 11.
- Headache extends into the nose, 11.
- Sharp pain runs up the nose, 11.
- Nose feels bruised (fifth day), 7a.
- Tickling in nose, 11.
- Itching in nose (all day), 7.
- Smell.
- My sense of smell, which is always extremely acute, became painfully so, particularly in reference to unpleasant effluvia; the action of the nostrils was extremely painful, 7b.
- The greatest sensibility to the smell of tobacco; tastes the snuff, while the box is one foot distant, 7c.
FACE
- Objective. [180.]
- Paleness and qualmishness, 9.
- Quivering in the face, 11.
- Slight twitchings in face and hands, 7b.
- Face pale yellow, nearly brown, 8.
- Subjective.
- Heat in the face after drinking coffee, 9.
- Heat in face, with redness, 9.
- Heat in face, and soreness of left cheek, from thinking, 11.
- It draws about in right side of face, 9.
- Cheeks.
- Quick drawing from the right malar bone towards nose, 12.
- Feeling as if bitten in the face, left side of mouth, 7. [190.]
- Something seems gnawing right cheek-bone (fifth day), 7.
- Rending pain in right upper jaw towards the ear; jaws ache with the headache, 11.
- Shooting pains in upper jaw, 7a.
- Chin.
- Biting-snapping, with convulsions, 11.
- Several severe twitches in jaws, 7b.
- Jaws feel stiff, and a disposition to gape, 7b.
- Jaws stiff and sore, with headache (after nearly a month), 7b.
- Both jaws feel stiff; tingling in cheek-bones (third day), 7.
- Jaw quite stiff at times, more painfully so than before (tenth day), 7.
- Jawache nearly all day, and pressure on top of head most severe, 7a. [200.]
- While reading, jaws began to ache; the longer I read, the more they ached; gaped frequently (seventh day), 7.
- It seems to make the jaws ache to write (second day), 7a.
- Jaws ache severely (second day), 7a.
- Jaws feel sore and stiff; have a great disposition to press the hand against the lower jaw, 7.
- Jawbone feels quite sore, 7b.
MOUTH
- Teeth.
- Teeth feel on edge (second day), 7a.
- Pain in roots of back teeth, 9.
- All the teeth ache, 9.
- Headache and earache extend into the teeth, 11.
- Teeth very sensitive; pulsation in teeth of upper jaw, 7b. [210.]
- Toothache during pregnancy, 8.
- Gums.
- Gums painful, 9.
- Tongue.
- Pain in the root of the tongue and left side of throat (second day), 7a.
- General Mouth.
- Feeling of coolness in mouth, as after peppermint, 14.
- Felt as if the velum pendulum palati was elongated; examining, found it not so, but was slightly inflamed (fifth day), 1.
- Have had quite a sore mouth, feels as if there were lumps in it, 7b.
- Have had, for a week previous to taking medicine, a dry, parched mouth, with great thirst; now, mouth full of saliva, and total disinclination to drink (third day), 7.
- Saliva.
- Increase of saliva, not more viscid than usual (third day), 1a.
- Towards noon, slight increased of saliva, 5.
- Much saliva, 6a. [220.]
- Much saliva, not thicker than ordinary (sixth day), 7.
- Great flow of saliva and difficulty in swallowing liquids (second day), 4a.
- Saliva more plentiful, but thin, and of a yellow color (fifth day), 2.
- Much viscid saliva (second day), 2, 1c.
- A large quantity of viscid saliva in mouth, causing me to spit an unusual quantity (third day), 2.
- A very large amount of viscid saliva, and an increase of oil in the hair (fourth day), 2.
- Saliva more viscid, constant spitting, feeling of general malaise all over, without pain, or knowing where to locate it (fourth day), 1.
THROAT
- Objective.
- Inflammation of the throat (Braung).
- Slight inflammation of throat and fauces as far as I could see (third day), 1a.
- Throat much inflamed, some difficulty in swallowing, 1c.
- Much mucus in throat and nose (fourth day), 7a.
- During the day, bile rises in the throat; an unusual quantity of tough saliva in mouth and throat, 7.
- A terrible pain in throat all day, and great pain in swallowing, 5.
- Great heat in the throat and around the heart (second day), 1a. [240.]
- Throat feels as though I had swallowed a small quantity of red pepper (fourth day), 1.
- At 3 P.M., felt a strange constrictive sensation in back part of throat never experienced before; at 4 P.M., worse, could not swallow without great pain; went off at 6 P.M.; returned in an hour, lasting till 10 P.M., 2.
- Violent spasms of throat at 2 P.M., feeling as if I was about to be suffocated; went off at 9 P.M., 1c.
- Sore throat, 3, 4a.
- Sore throat all day (fourth day), 1a, 3.
- Throat feels sore and as if swelled, 6a.
- Sore throat, increased saliva, no inflammation, as far I could see, though it felt as if inflamed, and hotter than usual (seventh day), 1a.
- Sore throat, constant desire to swallow, 6a.
- Very slight sore throat, constant desire to swallow (second day), 1.
- Sore throat increased, slight difficulty in swallowing liquids, much saliva, rather more viscid than usual (third day), 1. [250.]
- Sore throat, not able to swallow without great pain (fifth day), 5.

STOMACH
- Appetite.

- Aversion and disgust to everything fat, particularly mutton, 8.
- Thirst.
- Not thirty these two weeks, 7a.
- Nausea and Vomiting.
- Nausea, with pale face, after diarrhœa, 11.

ABDOMEN
- Hypochondria.

- Tearing from left (hypochondriac region) to right, 9.
- Pain in region of liver and right kidney, 7c.
- General Abdomen.
- Difficult and impeded passage of wind, 8, 11.

- Glands in groins swelled very much and pained greatly for two hours (sixth day); not much abated (seventh day), 2.
- Pain in both groins; the right groin has two little balls swelled up under the skin, quite painful (fifth day), 4.
- Much pain in right groin and slight swelling there at 2 P.M. (fifth day), 7a.
- Dull pressure above the right groin, on a small, distinct point, 12.
- A dragging pain in both groins, 2.
RECTUM AND ANUS. [300.]
- Piles protrude, 11.
- Blood from anus during menstruation, 11.
- Bright-red blood from anus, with a horrible burning and stinging, like thorns, 6.
- Sphincter (ani) closes violently, 11.
- Pulsation outside of anus, 11.
STOOL
- Diarrhœa, 9, 18.
- Diarrhœa, without pain, in the morning, 8 ; with pain in the morning, 7c.
- Softer stool than usual, 8, 9.
URINARY ORGANS
- Bladder.
- Cold and burning feeling in bladder; pain in sphincter, 8.
- Urethra.
- After urinating, flow of prostatic juice, 8. [310.]
- Burning and tenesmus in region of prostate and down urethra, 10.
- Tickling burning in urethra after urination, 12.
- Micturition.
- Urging to urinate, 8.
- Very frequent urination; very copious watery urine, 10.

- Urine brown, turbid, with reddish or whitish sediment, 8.
SEXUAL ORGANS
- Male.
- Great weakness of the male parts; they feel empty, as if gone; bearing down in urethra, 8.
- Tickling and burning on corona glandis, with some greenish pus, 10.
- Aching in testicles, 8.
- Lascivious ideas and erection, afternoon, 8. [320.]
- Indifference during erection, and even during coition, 8.
- Nightly emission in sleep, with dreams, 10.
- No sperm during coition; the sperm passed off in sleep, 8.
- Female.
- During the day, great pain, extending from uterus into breast and right side of abdomen (seventh day), 7.
- Bearing down in uterine region, 9.
- Sharp pains in uterus, shooting down to labia, 7c.
- Slimy leucorrhœa during the proving, 7c.
- Menstruation after fifty days, with headache, 7c.
- Menstruation after two weeks, with hæmorrhoids, pulsation in anus, and weakness of back, 9.
- Taken three days after menstruation is over, it reappears in two cases, 9.

CHEST
- Rush of blood from the chest upwards, with toothache during pregnancy, 8.
- Pain from within outwards, in right side, 11.

- Dull pricking pain in left side from head to waist, 3.
HEART
