AMELIORATION: From standing (dyspnœa); from expectoration; and from remaining quietly.
RELATIONSHIP: Similar to: Acon., Apis, Ars., Bell., Canth., Caps., Gels., Hep., Kali-M., Lach., Merc. and Puls. in early stage of specific urethritis.
CANNABIS SATIVA is very similar to CANTHARIS in its urethral phenomena. It has the same yellow discharge from the urethra. There seems to be more burning and smarting under Cannabis, while there is more tenesmus under Cantharis.
ANTIDOTES: Camph,; to large doses: lemon juice.
