Pothos fœtidus (Putorii)

Face

Above the nasal bone, swollen and red, forming a saddle, painful to the touch, especially on the left side of the nose; the cartilaginous part is cold and bloodless, with red spots on the cheeks; on the left side of the face small pimples.

Mouth

Sensation of numbness of the tongue, cannot touch the teeth with it.

Papillæ elevated.

Red and sore on the tip and the edges.

Respiratory Organs

Catarrh of aged persons.

Sudden anxiety, with dyspnœa and perspiration, followed by stool and relief of that and other complaints.

Inclination to draw a long breath, with the sensation of emptiness in the chest; later, constriction in the larynx and chest.

Asthma, aggravated or caused by dust. (Heaves in horses from dusty hay).

The difficulty of breathing is better in the open air.
