By John Henry Clarke — A Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica
Selenate of Sodium. NaSeO 4 . Trituration.
Clinical
Laryngeal phthisis / Laryngitis, chronic
Characteristics
This is an unproved remedy, but it has a decided affinity for the larynx. According to Hansen its use in homœopathy was first suggested by Meyhoffer, who gave the indication in laryngeal phthisis as: "Expectoration of small lumps of bloody mucus with slight hoarseness." It is best suited to the early stage of the disease.
